Repair to stay, repair to list, or step away from the project
Owners of a tired Meridian house usually compare three directions. This page puts them in equal columns. It does not name a winner and it does not estimate after-repair value.
Repair and remain
You keep the house after the work. That fits if you want to live there, can fund the project, and can live through the job or relocate temporarily. Permits, if the city requires them, are part of the path. See Meridian permits.
This company is not your contractor and will not manage the remodel.
Repair and list
You renovate so retail buyers can imagine themselves inside. That can support a higher list price if the work is finished, shown, and accepted. It also adds holding time, selling costs, and the chance that the market does not pay for every dollar. Creative Home Partners is not a listing brokerage.
Sell as-is and stop being the general contractor
A direct purchase can reduce project management. The offer may be lower than a successful repaired listing. Condition still matters; “as-is” is not a magic phrase that erases defects. Read what as-is means here.
Creative Home Partners may discuss buying the house for its own account. We do not promise cash, a closing day, or that we will buy every fixer.
How to keep the columns honest
Use the same scope list in every column: seen, bid, or guessed. Then run the comparison tool. No contact information is required. If you want a conversation, request one.
